Follow the instructions below to reset the 4-digit access code if you cannot remember it.

1. Press the [Home] button on the remote control to access the home menu.
2. Use the cursor buttons to select [Setup] and press the [OK] button to confirm.
3. Press the cursor [Down] to select [Features] and press the cursor [Right].
4. Press the cursor [Down] to select [Change Code] and press the cursor [Right].
5. When the prompt CURRENT CODE appears on the screen, enter the universal code '8888'.
6. Then enter an easily remembered new 4-digit access code and enter the new code a second time for confirmation.
7. Press the [Back] button to exit the menu.

If you have not set your personal 4-digit access code when you first turned on the TV, you need to do this before you can use the Child lock feature.

Follow the instructions below to set the 4-digit access code for the first time:

1. Press the [Home] button on the remote control to access the home menu.
2. Use the cursor buttons to select [Setup] and press the [OK] button to confirm.
3. Press the cursor [Down] to select [Features] and press the cursor [Right].
4. Press the cursor [Down] to select [Set Code] and press the cursor [Right].
5. When the prompt 'NEW PIN' appears on the screen, enter an easily remembered new 4-digit access code and enter the new code a second time for confirmation.
6. Press the [Back] button to exit the menu.
