How to set the clock on Philips TV?

You need to set the clock manually, in order to display the clock on the TV. This TV has no option to update the clock automatically when it received the time data from the TV service operator or teletext.

Follow these steps to set the TV clock:

1) Press the [Home] button on the remote control to access the home menu
2) Use the cursor buttons [Up][Down][Left][Right] to select [Setup] and press the [OK] button to confirm your choice
3) Select [TV settings] and press the [OK] button

After selecting TV settings:

4) Press the cursor [Down] to select [Preferences] and press the [OK] button
5) Press the cursor [Up] or [Down] to select [Clock] and press the [OK] button
6) Select [Time] and press the [OK] button
7) Use the cursor [Up] or [Down] or the numeric buttons to enter the time
8) Press the cursor [Right] to select [Done] once adjustment is complete and press the [OK] button to confirm your choice
9) Press the [Back] button to exit the menu

NOTE: When the mains power is interrupted, the clock will be reset and it has to be updated again.

After you have set the clock, proceed as follow to display the TV clock

1) In TV mode, press the [Options] button to display the options menu
2) Select [Clock] and press the [OK] button to display the clock
3) The clock is disabled when you switch channel or a new menu pop-up
