My Philips Avent Baby monitor makes a high-pitch noise

Make sure that the baby unit and parent unit of your Philips Avent Baby monitor are at least 1 meter / 3 feet away from each other.

Press the - button to decrease the volume of the parent unit of your Philips Avent baby monitor. You will see the current volume level on the display after pressing the - button. The parent unit beeps at every volume step.

The parent unit of your Philips Avent Baby monitor may be too close to other DECT devices (like a baby phone or regular DECT phone). Remove these devices to avoid interference.
