The Philips InfraCare produces infrared light, which penetrates deeply into the skin and warms the tissues. Find out how it works.
How does Philips InfraCare infrared light work?

The effects of warmth
- Warmth modulates the neuronal signals to the brain and thus reduces pain
- Warmth dilates the blood vessels (locally) and thereby stimulates local blood circulation, which accelerates the transport of substances necessary to rebuild and nourish the body's tissues
Speed up metabolic processes
Infrared light speeds up the metabolic processes and the removal of metabolic end products from the irradiated area. Because it makes tissue more pliable, warmth also reduces stiffness and makes joints more flexible.
Pain relief
Because of the effects above, treatment with Philips InfraCare can temporarily relieve pain due to muscle and joint problems.
