Light intensity, which refers to the degree that light is diffused by the bulb surface, is influenced by two factors: whether a bulb is clear or coated, and its size. The larger the bulb surface, the more diffuse and less bright the light will be. Large globe lamps have a low light intensity, but the light output is just the same as a clear or smaller bulb of similar wattage, which will appear much brighter!...
